At the gym: Urmi Kothari, an alternative fitness professional, suggests doing high-intensity interval training (HIIT) five times a week. HIIT will target the major muscles of your body and expend more energy in a short period. As a result of this, you end up burning calories both during and even after the workout.

Yoga: The yoga poses tone your muscles and help increase your strength and flexibility. Plus, the asanas reach deep down to control glands and hormones responsible for hunger and satiety. Perform yoga asanas like virabhadrasana, paschimottanasana, setubandhasana and marjariasana daily.
