Morning While welcoming the sun rays, begin chanting the gayatri mantra. If you can, chant it for a complete 108 times. Studies reveal that the chanting helps build immunity, increases your concentration and calms the mind too. Here are 10 benefits of chanting the mantra.
Breakfast Now that you are happy and refreshed, go ahead and make some interesting breakfast. A delicious combination of oats and eggs is this recipe of oats with soft eggs. It mushy and creamy and an instant hit among picky eaters too.
Lunch Always keep carrots in stock. You can add them to salads, eat raw carrots sticks for snack and even make a quick carrot rice with it for lunch. You can have it with dal or a raita. Avoid boondi raita as it packs a lot of calories.
Snacks A healthy and nutrient packed snack is this lemon-dill chicken stuffed eggs. It may sound like a difficult dish to make but it is not. And before you realise, it will vanish from the table.

Exercises
At home Take up cycling in the evenings or mornings whenever you have time. If you do not have time for exercise today because you need to run errands, take your bicycle and go cycling to pick up groceries or vegetables. It is an exercise in itself.
Yoga After a cycling session, take some time to practice yoga. You need just 15 minutes. The Vrikshasana or the tree pose not only improves your concentration and balance but also helps develop abdominal muscles.
At the gym Give your muscles a little rest by doing only light stretch exercises at the gym today. If you are itching to do some cardio since it has become a habit, you can run on the treadmill for 10-15 minutes.
Sleep well tip If you want to sleep peacefully and in time tonight, give up on any form of caffeine post lunch. Here are some other tricks you can try to sleep better.
