If you ve been following our fitness plans for a month or more, living healthy is a cakewalk for you now. You can t stop yourself from eating right and working out each day. Oily or greasy food will make you smirk. Congratulations you are now a fitness enthusiast.
Morning Treat yourself to a coffee shot this morning. On an empty stomach, try this coffee-lemon mix. This combination helps you burn fat easily. It kick starts the metabolism and helps in cleansing the system too. It s a great option if you have loose motions too.
Breakfast Tired of the idlis, oats and poha. Try rava or semolina dhokla for breakfast today. They are light and can be prepared instantly. Kids will love it in their snack box. In fact, even you can carry it in your snack box if there are leftovers.
Lunch Chana or chhole are excellent for health. Add paneer and some unusual veggies to it and you have chana paneer ready. The combination of spices like cloves and mango powder give it a different taste. It goes well with phulkas.
Snacks If you have leftover dhokla from breakfast carry it along and enjoy it with a tiny cup of masala chai today. Just go easy on the sugar in the chai.
Dinner There s nothing stopping you from eating rice for dinner as long as you take small portions and finish your dinner at least two hours before you go to bed. You can try one of these brown rice recipes tonight.
Exercises
At home If your WiFi connection is weak today or you re looking for a simple exercise today, then go for squats. They work wonders in toning your lower body and give your butt and thighs an amazing shape. Spend at least 15-20 minutes practicing squats.
Yoga Since you have worked on your lower body, move to the upper body during yoga. If you don t find push-ups very difficult, then Chaturanga and dandasana might not be difficult to practice. These poses work on your arms and back and will give you shoulders to die for.
At the gym You ve heard a lot about pilates and how our Bollywood celebs are working towards that fab body with this exercise. Get in touch with a coach to guide you in practicing this at least once a week if possible.
Sleep well tip We have a list of traditional digestives that can be chewed post dinner. So we don t need gum or some special tonics for it. Just take a spoonful of roasted or raw fennel seeds or saunf and chew them after dinner to fight acidity.
