The first Monday of the month should make you feel energized, happy and thrilled. After all you have completed 6 successful months of the fitness journey. Have fun today exercising and eating right. Here is today s plan:

Morning Start your day with a glass of water stored in copper vessel preferably. Follow it by a glass of lauki juice to boost your weight loss and also detox your body. Lauki juice also treat constipation and works wonders on your skin and hair.

Breakfast Begin your day with a delicious and kid friendly recipe. The peas laccha parantha is wholesome and a favourite of the young and the old. You can also pack it in your kids lunch box. Enjoy it with a cup of tea or healthy chutney.

Lunch It s a day to eat green and so lunch needs a green element too. The calcium and iron rich palak saag is perfect for this weather. You can relish it with hot makki rotis or jowar bhakri and some kachumber or salad. Wash it down with plain buttermilk for a satisfying meal.

Snack Early evening snacks are something everyone looks forward to. So it s important that the snack is not just healthy but tasty too. Multigrain crackers with a fresh salsa can be the perfect option. You can make a big batch of crackers in advance for easy snacking.

Dinner The last meal if the day has to be green too. Coriander chicken masala completes the theme and is also rich in protein and low in calories. Enjoy it sans the carbs or have it with a roti or some brown rice.

Exercise

At home Fat burning exercises can be performed at home too. All you need is the guidance. Follow this video for basic exercises that yield amazing results and can be performed even in small spaces at home.

Yoga Calm your mind while working on your lower body with the Bhadrasana. This yoga pose also improves digestion and tones your thighs and buttocks if performed regularly.

Gym A treadmill is something none of us miss when we are at the gym. It s one of the ideal and preferred cardio exercises. Do it right and follow some simple tips to use the treadmill correctly to get the best out of this workout.

Sleep well tip Follow a sleeping routine. Sleeping at the same time everyday can help you set the body clock better. A head oil massage or switching off the gadgets before you go to bed help you get better sleep.
