Now that monsoon season has begun, don t let the rainfall dampen your motivation and enthusiasm to exercise. Use the cooler weather as inspiration to burn more calories. If you re not prone to frequent colds and fever, ditch your umbrella and go for a long run in the rainfall! Today s fitness plan will make it easier for you to achieve flatter abs and stay motivated. Breakfast:Enjoy these whole wheat eggless pancakes without worrying about eating maida early in the morning. If you re a vegetarian and don t consume eggs, this recipe if perfect for you. You can drizzle these pancakes with honey with a delicious finish instead of chocolate or maple syrup. Here s what you need to know about the different types of honey and their benefits. Lunch: Fight against iron deficiency or anemia by adding more spinach to your diet. One way of doing that is making palak shorba for lunch. Did you know, studies have found that over 58% of Indian women are anemic?

Snacks: When you think of sprouts, the first thing that comes to your mind is a bowl of bland salad with lemon juice. You need not force yourself to eat that when you re craving something savoury and delicious. Instead, you could use sprouts for this masaledar mixed sprouts sandwich. If you suffer from diabetes or just want to lose more weight, this is the perfect snack for you.

Dinner: The thought of eating green vegetables like tori or ridge gourd might make you groan, but with the right recipe, you could actually work wonders with this humble vegetable. Try out turai moong chana sabzi by Chef Sanjay Kapoor which tastes great with rotis or chappatis.

Exercises

Home: After a long day at work, finding the motivation to start exercising is difficult especially on days when you only feel like lazing on your couch. You need not do a 100 crunches a day to achieve flat abs. Instead, start hula hooping for a shapely body and slimmer waist. Everyday, hula hoop for at least 15-20 minutes and use your arms, legs and shoulders for a full body workout. Here are 5 reasons why you need to start hula hooping today.
