Breakfast Dessert for breakfast sounds like a treat isn t it? You deserve it for all the hard work you are putting in. Enjoy the protein rich oats fudge for breakfast today. Oats, jaggery and coconut will give you the required fibre and a little ghee will keep your joints well lubricated.
Lunch Increase your protein intake for the day with the palak soya wadi for lunch. Spinach contains fibre too and will keep you satiated for long. You can enjoy it with fresh phulkas or bhakri.
Snack Friends are going to a caf to indulge in junk food? Don t miss out on the fun just because you are on a weight loss regime. Treat yourself to healthy homemade bruschetta.
Dinner Enjoy a light yet delicious dinner with quinoa stir fry accompanied by a fresh bean salad or beetroot salad. The recipe is rich in protein and fibre and has a low glycemic index and is ideal for diabetics too.
Exercise
At home Work on your entire body. If you are running on the treadmill at the gym, try strengthening exercises combined with cardio at home. Try this 20 minute workout that focuses on glutes and abs and involves high intensity interval training.
Yoga There are several asanas that are ideal for weight loss. Perform the Vinayasa flow which involves a series of movements that aid weight loss. The asana also tones your arms and strengthens your core muscles.
Gym The balancing act works great for strengthening core and ab muscles. Try using the Bosu ball while performing some of your exercises. This way, you will be targeting multiple muscles at one time. If you haven t used Bosu ball before, take the help of your trainer.
Sleep well tip There is nothing better than a good champi or oil massage before bed to relax. The head massage also helps you sleep better. So do a quick champi yourself or get someone to do it for you.
