It is a fresh new day, with a fresh new start. In case you are feeling tired or lazy, here is the key to some easy and effective rejuvenation- the OM chant. Choose a comfortable spot in the house or you can even do it in the park or yard of your house. Keep your breathing pattern deep and constant while you chant. Chanting OM has therapeutic effects on the mind, body and soul. This can boost your mood to kick start a fresh beginning to your day! Breakfast: Keep it healthy and filling. Start your day with this delicious minty vegetable and oats soup. Rich in fibre and nutrients, this soup is a smart choice if you are planning to lose weight.

Lunch: Always remember that it is very crucial to have your lunch on time. Try this protein rich Soya palak wadi as a sider and eat it with rice or roti, whichever you prefer. It is healthy and rich in iron content as well, which will leave you feeling energetic all day!

Snacks: Bored of the usual? Give an exotic twist to your daily snacking habits with this healthy iron rich stuffed chila. The improvisation to these delicious pancakes is the mixed sprouts stuffing, which makes it uniquely versatile.

Dinner: If you want to eat a hearty meal after a hard day at work, you can still make it healthy. How about trying honey smeared chicken this night? Relish it and go for a stroll to improve your digestion.

Exercises: Give your body some activity with some fuss-free exercising.

Home: Cardio exercises are a must if you want to lose weight. They improve metabolism and also aid in blood circulation. Did you know that you could do cardio exercises even at home? Yoga: Get the toned body you have always wanted with the power of Yoga. Try Gomukhasana or the cow head pose. This asana not only helps in weight loss, but is also known to stretch, tone and strengthen the upper body, and also beat anxiety and stress. The meditative sitting asana helps in curing leg cramps too.

Sleep well tip: For maintaining a healthy uninterrupted sleep cycle, meditate for 10 minutes before you go off to sleep. It not only soothes your body, mind and senses, but also has various long term benefits. Learn how you can be a successful individual through mindful meditation.
