Breakfast South Indian food is healthy and delicious at the same time. The best part is, this cuisine offers healthy breakfast and snacks options like idlis and dosas that are rich in fiber and most importantly, not deep fried. If you don t have any atta at home, you can add a twist to your usual dosa recipe and try out Sanjeev Kapoor s bread dosa recipe. It is quick and easy to make along with being tasty. Instead of using white bread, you can switch to brown or multigrain bread.

Lunch While everyone is eagerly waiting for rainfall, the first one or two weeks of June is one of the hottest times of the year in most parts of the country. It is important to eat light so you don t end up feeling bloated and heavy throughout the day. You can try making these soya methi theplas for lunch.

Snacks Who doesn t love a plate of chaat? Just because you re on a diet, doesn t mean you can t enjoy it! You can try this healthy khatta meetha channa chaat recipe to beat all your cravings and stay on track with your fitness goals.

Dinner Almost everyone loves a plate of steaming hot dumplings or what is more commonly known as momos here in India. You can give this dish a healthy twist and make it at home with the help of this baked vegetables with dumplings recipe. It contains carrots, potatoes, mushrooms and is still packed with flavour and fiber which makes for a perfect dinner dish.

Exercise

At home Just by putting aside 15 minutes every day, you can tone your body at home without spending any money on a personal trainer or a gym membership. Try out this 15 minute boxing workout to exercise your entire body and get your daily dose of endorphins.

At the gym If you go to the gym at least thrice a week, congratulations. You have managed to do something that most people are unable to pull off. However, while you re busy working out for a better body, some of your gym habits might affect your skin and hair. These are the 5 skin and hair mistakes you commit while exercising in the gym.

Yoga Stop doing all those crunches obsessively and instead switch to the plank pose or kumbhakasana to workout your abs, thighs, buttocks and back.

Sleep well tip Most people are completely unaware of the fact that the position they sleep in has a direct impact on their health in the long run. Pain management specialist, Dr. Anil Kulkarni says these are the best and worst positions to sleep in. Sleeping in the right position can help prevent backache and heartburn.
