No, you won t get a tan if you go out and allow yourself to get natural Vitamin D, instead it will help you ease workout pains as it acts as a natural pain reliever. Sunlight also helps to boost overall health and lift your mood as its golden rays can also act as a natural anti-depressant.

Morning Start your day by chanting gayatri mantra for 108 times to reap its health benefits. There are studies that say chanting the mantra can help boost immunity, calm the mind, increase concentration and does a lot more.

Eating the right foods will help you keep calories at bay and manage weight more effectively. Here are some healthy ways in which you can stay healthy on a Sunday:

Breakfast Have you tried all variations of oats for breakfast and are bored to try the same old recipe on a Sunday morning then you should give oats with soft eggs a try. It sounds like an odd combination but is as yummy as you can think.

Weekend activity: It might be boring to do exercises at home on a Sunday so you better pick up a weekend activity which helps you burn calories and relax too. Probably cycling, especially, if you are going with your buddies makes for a great weekend activity and helps you to shed some pounds in fun manner.

At gym: If you are heading to the gym today try not to do any weights or try any new machine workouts, instead do some light stretches to give your muscles enough TLC.

Yoga: This is the best form of exercise that you can do at the moment. Try doing the Vrikshasana or tree pose at home that helps to get balance works on your abdominal muscles as well.

Sleep: If you worry about sleeplessness at night and you know you have an early morning meeting to attend on Monday then cut off caffeine from your routine after 2 pm, here are some other ways to help you fall asleep at night.
