If you are eating right and following an exercise routine, you are bound to feel energetic all day. On days that you feel a little low, talk to your family or friends or watch some motivational videos. Avoid taking a day off from your fitness regime. Here s today s plan to keep you busy and happy all day.

Morning If you are bored of drinking warm water with honey and lime every day, switch to something tastier. Begin your day with vegetable juice shots. Try beetroot or carrot juice, or wheat grass juice mixed with spinach or aloe vera. If you don t mind a bitter shot, karela juice shots can be ideal.

Breakfast A nutritious combination of grains and lentil, the South Indian crepe adai is a healthy breakfast option. It is high in protein and fibre. If you don t have the time to make sambar, you can enjoy it with chutney too.

Lunch Enjoy warm and comforting curd rice with roasted papad for lunch. It is not just good when you have an upset stomach but is also great for weight loss since it is low in calories unlike pulao or fried rice.

Snacks Healthy snacking doesn t mean binging on diet munchies. Portion control must be practiced for every meal. Even if you are eating multigrain crackers during snack-time, stick to 2-3 crackers and not more. That way, you satisfy your hunger pangs and make room for dinner too.

Dinner For dinner tonight, teleport yourself to the Middle East with this easy tabbouleh salad, hummus and lavash. The beauty of this cuisine is that it is extremely light on the stomach and does not leave you feeling bloated.

Exercises

At home Flabby arms are obviously not appealing. While they fall under the category of difficult areas for losing weight, if you follow the correct exercise routine, you can certainly get rid of all the flab. Try these exercises to get rid of fat on your arms from the comfort of your home.

Yoga Focus on your upper body today. If you have already completed gym or home exercises, Ardha Chakrasana will help you tone your chest muscles and arms and cut the flab from your hips and thighs.

At the gym Work on your shoulders by performing the overhead dumbbell press in the gym. The exercise also engages your triceps, trapezius and upper chest muscles. Remember to perform this exercise with sufficient back support and do not use very heavy weights in the beginning. You can increase it gradually.

Sleep well tip It s important that you care for your feet during monsoons to prevent bacterial or fungal infections. The task of pampering your feet has double benefits.
