The weekend is here and this means you have more free time! It is advisable to allot a little extra time for your workouts. We know you're guilty of skipping workouts or take a rest day on weekends. But don't. If you need to take a rest day, do it on a weekday when you are already stressed by office work. Plan and make interesting healthy recipes to celebrate your Saturday. Here s today s plan.
Morning Your body is tuned to waking up at the same time daily so don t oversleep just because i is the weekend. Begin your day by sipping some ginger tea while you sit in the balcony or by the window with your spouse. Spend some time interacting and talking about good things.
Breakfast Treat yourself to a fancy caf -style breakfast like these whole wheat pancakes. Drizzle some honey accompanied by a bowl of fresh fruits and some plain milk. You ll instantly feel like you're in an English caf , eating delicious but healthy food.
Lunch Biryani may be synonymous with calories. But there are ways to make it healthy. Enjoy a smoked chicken biryani cooked with minimal oil and brown rice. The nutrition value is high and there is no compromise on the taste.
Snacks Do you have some leftover chapatis from yesterday? Time to put them to good use. Instant chapati masala noodles are an awesome tea-time snack and are a hit among kids too. One serving is just 100 calories so you can enjoy it guilt-free.
Dinner You ve indulged in good food all day. So it s sensible that you eat light dinner. You can either opt for a healthy salad or a bowl of piping hot minted green peas soup.
