Morning You obviously know what deep breathing is. It is important that you deep breathe a few times a day to relax. Wake up and sit upright in your bed. Close your eyes and deep breathe. Breakfast Now that tomatoes are as expensive as apples, you can replace them in your sandwich. Make a chicken and apple sandwich with multigrain bread for breakfast today. It s quick and can be packed in your kid s lunch box too.

Lunch If you love rice, you don t need to give it up totally. Just ensure you eat only a small portion of brown rice preferably. Make the chickpea and herb brown rice for lunch today. Enjoy it with a fresh raita. The recipe demands just a few ingredients and is easy to follow.

Snacks Make the most of the mangoes while they last. Raw mangoes are tangy and make a tempting addition to snack recipes. Relish the raw mango salad that is rich in Vitamin C and vitamin A during snack time.

Dinner Enjoy something fancy for dinner tonight. You re determination towards workouts and healthy eating needs some celebration too. Try the spring pea pasta with ricotta and herbs. It is rich in carbohydrates and protein. Don t forget to use only whole wheat pasta for this recipe.

Exercise

At home Once you are back from the gym or a run or a session of brisk walking, don t forget to stretch your muscles properly. Cool down stretches are a must and can be done from the comfort of your home. These stretches also make you feel energized even after a workout.

Yoga If the weather does not permit you to step out, home exercises and yoga are a good idea. Yoga can be done anytime and requires very little time. Today try the Anjaneyasana or low lunge. This asana helps shape inner thighs, glutes and your butt.

Gym You obviously know that a worng posture while performing an exercise can lead to back pain. Be careful that you perform all workouts correctly. To improve your posture, try the side dumbbell bends at the gym today.

Sleep well tip Some foods help you sleep better. If you are having trouble getting sound sleep, try eating these snooze foods at night for better sleep.
