Exercising can get strenuous, and constantly feeling drained and sore after working out thrice a week is a common problem among people who have recently been following a specific workout schedule. Morning Plan ahead and book an appointment for a full body massage early in the morning (at around 8am) at your favourite Ayurveda or wellness spa. Instead of going for the complimentary or cheaper massages offered in your gym, treat yourself to a better one before you head out for work or go about with your daily errands. Lunch You can try making bhajani thalipeeth for a quick and nutritious snack. This dish is like a roti but healthier as it is made from Bajra, rice flour, jowar atta and besan. It is packed with proteins and carbohydrates and is also high on fiber.

Snacks Chana masala is a popular Indian snack and also highly nutritious. You can add a twist to your regular chana masala by adding soya to it and making chana soya masala. This is an excellent energy snack an hour or two before you start exercising.

Dinner Along with your rotis or regular boiled rice for dinner, you can prepare this delicious, iron rich green curry. This curry consists of five different vegetables which are low calorie and loaded with antioxidants and vitamins.

At home Once you get home after work or when you ve finally completed most of your chores by early evening, you might feel tired and drowsy especially several hours after the massage. Go easy on yourself and take a nap for 45 minutes or so. Here s how a short nap during the day can benefit your health. Sleep well tip If you have been having trouble sleeping, make sure to ensure that your environment or bedroom play a vital role. Before lying down, quickly clean your bedroom, change your sheets if they aren t clean enough and get rid of those piles of clothes or untidy stacks of books lying around.
