It is important to strengthen and stabilise the knees, which are crucial joints responsible for movement. The role of knees are many: they support the body's weight and help the legs bend. They can make you walk, run, jump or do absolutely anything that requires the body to move from one point to another. It is important to exercise every day and focus on knee stabilising routines. Namrata Purohit, a celebrity fitness coach took to Instagram to demonstrate a few interesting exercises that can challenge and work on your knee stability. While doing these exercises, it is important to move slowly, keep the core engaged and continue to breathe. Take a look here.

In the first exercise, you have to bend your spine a little while standing up, and close your ribs in to keep your knees straight. Make sure, however, that the bulk of your weight is on your heels. Gently place your feet on the floor to lift your body again on your heels. Make sure your back muscles jut out. For balance, you can hold on to the wall, or a door.
In the next exercise, keep one leg forward and place another backward. Bend your knees to lift your body weight on your toes, as demonstrated by Purohit in the video. Hold for a bit and then flatten your feet.
After this, assume a straight posture (without bending your spine) and stand on your toes before bending your knees once again.
Next, bend forward and fold your hands. Now, stretch one leg out on the side like a ballerina. Bring this leg forward, too, while continuing to use the toes. Repeat this exercise with the other leg.
After this, bring both the legs together to join them at the knees. Fold the knees, join your hands and lift your body on the toes. Bring your heels down to the floor and repeat.
