The stability ball is one of the best fitness equipments you can own. If you want to get rid of belly fat, an excellent way to accelerate the process is by working out on a stability ball. Apart from pushups, crunches and planks, the stability ball knee tuck is one of the stability ball exercises you must perform for quick results.

How will the exercise work?

You will need to do a lot of balancing in this move, but the benefits are worth it. The stability ball exercise will primarily target your lower abs and your obliques, but you will also feel the burn in your core at the same time. Additionally, it will work your arms, butt and legs and you will feel sore tomorrow.

How can you do it?

  • Get into a push-up position on a Swiss ball with your shins resting on the ball. Keep your hands straight and balance your entire body in the position.

Stability ball 1

  • Now while you keep your back straight, tuck your knees to roll the ball towards your chest. Pause for one or two seconds and then return the ball to the starting position. That completes one repetition.

Stability ball 2

  • Do three sets of eight repetitions for maximum benefits. You can slowly increase the number of sets to five once you are comfortable with the exercise. Also, try these stability ball exercises for toned abs.

  • Remember that the size of the stability ball you use so make sure that it is an appropriate one. It is best to use a ball that is appropriately sized for you. The ball should allow you to sit tall with your lower and upper legs at a ninety-degree angle and feet shoulder-width apart for stability.
  • If needed, place the ball against a wall for support while performing exercises. Also, try exercising with BOSU ball to lose weight and get flat abs.
