Chickpeas with pinch of garam masala and chaat masala is a fun snack to munch with drinks. Chickpea is cholesterol-free and can be a healthy addition to any dish. It also is a rich source of protein.
Wash and soak chickpeas overnight. Pressure cook chickpeas with bay leaf and garam masala for 2 whistles, reduce the flame and keep it for 5-6 minutes.
Drain the chickpeas and spread them as a thin layer and let the moisture dry up.
In a bowl add olive oil, red chilli powder, chaat masala, amchur powder, pepper powder and salt and whisk well.
Add the chickpeas to this mixture and let it marinate for half an hour.
Line a baking tray with silver foil and spread the marinated chickpeas in a single layer. Bake it at 160 degrees for 15 minutes until they turn crispy.
