But, according to a new study published in the Journal of Social Science & Medicine, eating just one extra portion of fruits and vegetables a day could have the same impact on mental well-being as around 8 extra days of walking a month (for at least 10 minutes at a time). According to Peter Howley, lead author of the study, "It s established that having fruits and vegetables can be good for physical health. Recently, newer studies have found that it may also be helpful for one's psychological wellbeing."

Hence, the researchers suggested that adopting good dietary habits may not only be beneficial for your physical health in the long run. But, can also help in improving your mental wellbeing in the shorter term. Well, along with eating fruits and vegetables, you can also go for these smart hacks.
