At the age of 56, Bhagyashree looks radiant as ever. The secret to her good health lies in the good lifestyle choices that she makes on a regular basis. From exercising and staying active every day, to prioritising her diet to take care of her overall well-being, the actor, fitness expert and nutritionist gives her 100 per cent to stay youthful as ever. She loves to share little nuggets of wisdom on social media for her fans and followers to also lead healthier lives. She recently talked about the secret behind her ageless beauty, and how she keeps her skin radiant. In a video shared on Instagram, Bhagyashree stated that a radiant skincare routine "begins internally". She added that exposure to dust and pollution can make the skin look duller. "Dust and pollution may affect your daily skincare routine, so you need a boost that energises and immunises you from the inside. A protection that will battle the dull and dry skin," the actor mentioned and added that one must prepare a drink and consume it for 15 consecutive days on an empty stomach to boost the health of their skin.

Add 10 strands of saffron to lukewarm water. Saffron can brighten the skin and reduce pigmentation. It is also known to improve the texture of the skin by giving it a collagen boost. "[Ten to fifteen] strands of kesar in lukewarm water every morning, [when] taken regularly on an empty stomach will bring out a radiant you. Try it," Bhagyashree said.

She also mentioned that 'original' saffron has bright red-orange strands, but it can take a little time to turn the water into a shade of pale yellow. Anything that infuses with the water and releases an orange pigment immediately is of sub-standard quality, Bhagyashree warned.

  7. Skin health: As mentioned earlier in the article, the antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds in kesar may help improve skin health and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
