While there were many speculations that he had gone under the knife to get in shape, the 54-year-old singer set the record straight, stating, "There has been a lot of speculation... but no surgery was done. At 230 kg, I'd have needed a vacuum cleaner for liposuction!"

Adnan Sami shared that during his weight loss journey, he had a strict diet plan, i.e, "no bread, no rice, no sugar, no oil, no alcohol", which he gradually saw steady progress in shedding the kilos. He recalled, "Everything I loved, I gave up."
