Kareena Kapoor Khan is one of the fittest actresses in Bollywood. Yes, there was a time when she received much criticism for her zero figure but now she is back on a healthy track and looked up to for her healthy and sustainable fitness secrets. She s also lost her pregnancy kilos, of course all in a healthy way. All thanks to her dietician Rujuta Diwekar for helping her get that oh-so enviable body. Recently, on Facebook, Rujuta revealed the three diet rules Kareena follows to keep herself looking so fit, fresh and beautiful. You might also just want to follow them. Read till the end.

1. Kareena starts her day with a power-packed breakfast. If you have seen her killing it in the gym, know that her workout is being fuelled by kanda poha or aloo poha with dahi.

Tip - Eat a wholesome meal around 60-90 minutes before your workout to ensure that you are able to optimise muscle fibre recruitment during exercise. This will help you burn more calories after your workout and get you results in a shorter period of time. You will not believe what Kareena Kapoor's pregnancy food craving was.

2. Kareena drinks a glass of nimbu pani with kalanamak, sugar, kesar and bit of ginger as a mid-afternoon pick me up drink a couple of hours post her lunch.

Tip Drink some nimbu paani to keep the afternoon slump away. The kesar will work miracle for the hair and skin while the ginger and kalanamak combo will leave you feeling light and refreshed. The drink will also help avoid bloating on tough working days. Here's what Kareena Kapoor is doing to lose the post-pregnancy weight.

3. Kareena prefers eating dal chawal ghee or khichdi dahi or doodhi sabzi & jowar roti with ghee for dinner.

Tip - An early and wholesome dinner ensures good, restorative sleep that helps the hormones stay in a state of balance. An early dinner also has an anti ageing effect on the body. Waking up fresh and sleeping soundly are the cornerstones of leading a good life.
