onionsIf you're suffering from a kidney ailment, then onions could be your saviour. As they are rich in vitamin C, calcium and phosphorous, onions can be healthy for people suffering from high creatinine levels along with reduced kidney function.

Onions also contain prostaglandin, which naturally reduces the viscosity of blood. It also helps lower high blood pressure, which reduces the progression of kidney disease. Besides, onions also contain the antioxidant quercitin, which prevents free radicals from causing damage to the kidneys and it also helps with detoxification. So if you're recovering from a kidney ailment, onion is one food that you should include in your diet.
