The 41-year-old actress has been slaying her weight loss after her "year of health," and we can't help but be impressed! When she revealed that she had shed nearly 33 pounds at the end of 2016, she began a commitment to a better lifestyle. She issued an update in May 2020, saying it's her "mission" to reach 75 kg or 165 pounds. And looks like her commitment really paid off. She lost more than 60 pounds and reached her goal.

How Did Rebel Wilson Lost Weight?

According to reports, the Isn't It Romantic actress made exercise a priority and set a goal of 165 pounds for herself. To do so, she's been following the Mayr Method, which combines exercise and a diet. But the start of her journey was different. Back in January 2020, she took to her Instagram account to share that she started her year-long fitness journey with walking. She "went out for a walk, deliberately hydrating on the couch right now and trying to avoid the sugar and junk food which is going to be hard after the holidays I've just had, but I'm going to do it!"

Rebel Wilson's weight loss journey is proof that starting slow is okay and you can achieve your weight loss goals by taking one step at a time.

Reports suggest that the actress and comedian have been working out under the guidance of trainer Jono Castano and working out seven days a week.

Rebel shared a video on her IG of her flipping fitness session, and captioned it: "Starting the week off right! Look out @chrishemsworth & @liamhemsworth Australia's latest action hero is turning it up!"

She indulges in high-intensity interval training (HIIT), which includes stair sprints and bouts with battle ropes. She wrote, "@jonocastanoacero just put me and @hugh_sheridan through an epic Opera House stair challenge workout! We did 30 laps! Also walked to and from the Opera House as a warm-up/ cool-down (last week I could only do 25 laps ...sooo already improving)."

The Mayr Method is a diet plan created in the 1920s by Austrian physician Dr Franz Xaver Mayr.
