When you are counting calories, remember to take those Indian beverages into consideration. They may leave you refreshed and bring you smiles in the smouldering summer heat, but some of them may also add to your waistline. To help you make a healthy choice, here are the calorie counts of common Indian drinks.

  • Jal jeera: 1 glass = 19.6 cal
  • Kehwa: 1 glass = 26.7 cal
  • Salted lassi: 1 glass = 62.2 cal
  • Chaach: 1 glass = 80.4 cal
  • Shikanji: 1 glass = 106.5 cal
  • Falooda: 1 glass = 108.2 cal
  • Sol kadi: 1 glass = 130.1 cal
  • Sweet lassi: 1 glass = 184.8 cal
  • Aam ka panna: 1 glass = 214.2 calories
  • Kokum sarbat: 1 glass = 297.5 cal
  • Thandaai: 1 glass = 377.8 cal
