themudrush3Ever watched an action movie, and wondered what it would feel like to go through one of those army style obstacles courses yourself? Here is your chance to make your wish come true at The MudRush. Mud rush a unique obstacle course organised by Happy feet entertainment and Sheer management, is being held for the first time in India. It promises to be fun and exciting, with not only the obstacle course, but also tents, campfires and a rocking after- party thrown in. To be held on the 9th of February in Kolad, the run is just the thing for fitness and adventure enthusiasts.

Designed by a former officer from the Military special services, the run spans over 7 kilometres with 15 obstacles, here are some of the obstacles you might encounter if you do decide to enrol:

Earth crawls: As the name suggests this obstacle involves crawling in a ditch dug out of the mud. It will test your upper body strength, and your determination to get to the other side.

Trapper's webs: Is an obstacle that looks like a web. A net hung between two poles, and to conquer it you will have to climb across to the other side, reach the top and climb back down. Usually an obstacle that requires a bit of team work, but if you go at it alone, sheer will power and muscle strength is the key.

Tyres on the road: This will test your coordination as well as concentration. A set of tyres placed side by side requiring you to step into each tyre and run across to the other end.

Vertical tyres: Is a course where tyres are stacked vertically. The aim is to climb to the top, and get back down to the other side. Again a sport that will require a lot of upper body strength, and is sure to work out those muscles.

Barb wire crawl: As the name suggests, it involves crawling under barbed wire, to reach the other end.

Sounds interesting? These are just some of the obstacles you might face. Be ready to face a few surprises. To help you cool off, they mud rush team has set up tents and a campfire that will definitely help in resting those aching bones. Relaxed and rejuvenated you will be all set to party the night away with world famous DJs and a rocking party to boot.
