5 yoga poses for strong bones

Yoga is an excellent way to boost bone health! Here are a few poses you must try.

Osteoporosis or loss of bone mass can put you at a higher risk of fractures and joint pain. Although the condition is common among elderly people, we cannot rule out the possibility of young people suffering from it. It s true that a well-balanced diet can prevent loss of bone mass; yoga can also be excellent to prevent and even slow down the process of bone loss. Yoga will help maintain bone health in the areas that are most likely to suffer, like your hips, spine and wrists. Here are a few yoga poses suggested by celebrity yoga expertAbhishek Sharma.

Utakatasana or chair pose
