Fat shaming existed since forever, it is just that these days people are speaking up against it and not letting trolls or bullies take a dig. However, time and again people need to be schooled how to not be rude to people who are fat and are more than happy with how they are. Hoping that soon there will be no need to for people to be told how not to disrespect fat people, here are a few things you should never say to them.
1. To try out some random diet- For all you know she knows about more diet types than you.
2. About borrowing their clothes or lending yours- You know they are not going to fit, who are we kidding here?
3. Telling them about the ill-effects of being over-weight- She must have done more research than you for sure.
4. Telling them how you manage to maintain your weight- She may have some health issues because of which she is not able to lose weight. Both of you are two different people for god's sake.
5. Asking them to try yoga or some new fancy gym- Let her be. She'll do the needful. Not that she doesn't know what to do.
