For the most part, bad oral hygiene leads to halitosis. So, oral hygiene should be your priority. Simhasana or the lion s pose: Bad breath is often a sign of toxicity in the intestine or colon caused due to chronic indigestion. Simhasana can also help release the toxins from the digestive tract and thus aid in getting rid of the foul breath. The lion pose is suitable for people of all ages.
Kapalbhati: Kapalbhati is an excellent breathing technique to deal with conditions such as indigestion and acidity that may be causing bad breath. If you are suffering from halitosis due to sinusitis kapalbhati can have a positive influence on your respiratory tract.
Sheetali pranayama: The word shitali means cooling, and this breathing technique or pranayama does exactly that it helps cool the entire body. It also aids to improve your respiratory system while activating your lungs, larynx, and trachea. While performing Shitali pranayama, you inhale through the mouth and exhale through the nostrils.
Yoga mudra: Yoga mudra or helps expand the chest and massages the lungs. Because of the bending action in this asana, blood from the lower portions of the body rushes upwards and helps massage the bottom part of the lungs, bronchioles, digestive system, thus helping cure the underlying cause of bad breath.
