World Psoriasis Day, October 29: Try these home remedies to get rid of scalp psoriasis

People suffering from scalp psoriasis may develop reddish and scaly patches on their scalp. They tend can get a single patch or even multiple patches.   • You can go for aloe vera: It has soothing properties which can relieve itchiness and irritation. You can mix freshly extracted aloe vera gel with some lavender oil and apply it on the scalp and wash it off later.
  • You can go for apple cider vinegar: It is antiseptic and anti-inflammatory in nature and can help you to deal with redness, inflammation and burning. It can also help you to fight infections. You should dilute that magnificent apple cider vinegar with water and apply it on your scalp. After leaving it for some time just wash it off.
  • You can go for henna: It has cooling properties which can reduce your irritation, it is also an astringent that can control the pH of your scalp and heal those annoying patches. It also has antifungal and antimicrobial compounds which can tackle infections. You should make a paste of henna and oil and apply it on the affected area. Later, wash it off.
  • You can go for yoghurt: It reduces itching by moisturizing your skin. It tends to exfoliate the dry and dead skin cells from the psoriasis bumps and also helps to fight inflammation. You can apply yoghurt on your scalp and just wash it off after some time.
