Unfortunately around 290 million people are currently affected by hepatitis (a liver condition) unknowingly says the World Hepatitis Alliance. This international non-governmental organisation also states that this number would possibly increase by 76 million by 2030. That is if proper measures are not taken now. Sounds scary? There is more to it. According to WHO hepatitis claims around 1.4 million lives every year. This is why there is an urgent need to look for effective ways to control the increasing number of hepatitis patients globally. In a bid to do that the World Health Organisation started a global campaign called
