R tells you how to take care of your voice in five easy ways. So all you singers and aspiring singer,s here is what you have to do.

1. Turmeric Milk

This goes without saying that turmeric milk is good for your throat, especially for people who sing. It relieves you of a scratchy throat and helps keep cold and cough at bay. Here are ten health benefits of turmeric.

2. No coffee/sugar before singing

Coffee/sugar blocks your throat, making it difficult for you to hit the right notes. You might not be able to nail the high notes if you've had coffee before singing. So to avoid any such situation, do not have coffee or anything sweet before singing.

3. Don't take Lozenges for a sore throat

Taking lozenges for a sore throat will only worsen it. A lot of singers will agree to this that you must go for natural remedies to relieve you of sore throat faster or you can follow the next step. Here's a quick home remedy to help clear your throat.

4. Warm water

Most singers keep a glass of warm water next to them while singing. Warm water helps you clear your throat and many times, during concerts and shows, singers sip some warm water to clear their throat. Get into a habit of consuming warm water all the time.

5. Nothing cold

This one is a no-brainer. Avoid ice-creams or cold drinks if you want to rock that concert. Ice-creams and other cold drinks affect your voice deeply and may make it sound hoarse. You don't want to be a major fail during your performance, do you?
