One simple reason stress takes over is - mismanagement of time. Bad time management usually lead to less productivity at work which increases one's stress levels. To be more productive, manage time effectively. Accomplishing everything that's on the to-do list might not be a definite way to beat stress, but it can reduce stress levels to a great extent. Here is what you can do to ensure better time management.

Start your day early: To do so wake up on time without putting your alarm into snooze mode and make a conscious effort to do so. Here are more tips to help you become a morning person.

Prioritise your day: Keep the most important tasks to do at the beginning of the day so that when energy levels are low it wouldn't be a struggle to finish majority of the tasks remaining in the list. Here are seven quick ways to de-stress yourself.

Avoid other distractions: Deliberately stay away from gossiping, unnecessary coffee breaks and checking social media every few minutes between tasks. This will save a lot of time.

Keep emotions in-check while at work: Brooding, being gloomy or feeling low, no matter what the reason, isn't going to make anyone productive at work. So try and keep emotions in-check. However bad feelings at work can at times be good too, know how.

Be realistic when setting goals: Don't burden yourself with too many tasks to do. To finish tasks in time, divide them throughout the day. Accomplishing what you have planned can help you feel satisfied and less stressful at the end of the day.
