Are you tired of the jiggling fat that you see in your mirror or feel when you pinch your skin? While we may often consider turning to advanced technology and luxury products to burn down fat, the best place to start might be simpler, which is looking into our grocery list.

In a podcast, a leading physician and scientist, Dr William Li, shares powerful everyday foods that can fire up your body's fat-burning mechanism.

Dr Li, who is known for his revolutionary findings of 30 years on the connection between health and diet, explains how the fats under our organs and skin can cause dangerous health problems.

What Is Brown Fat?

He says in a podcast, "Visceral fats are the fats that grow around your guts. The more you load up that extra fuel, the more of that fat grows, leading to straining organs, and when it becomes inflamed, it's really dangerous." And for your body to burn down the white fat, it's crucial to activate the brown fat.

Explaining what brown fat is, he continued, "Brown fat is close to the bone, it's not even wiggly jiggly. It's plastered around your neck under your breastbone, a little bit between our shoulder blades and scattered in our belly."

"When you activate the brown fat, it burns away the jiggly fat," He emphasised, "When you turn on the brown fat, you burn down the white fat."

Super Foods To Activate Your Fat-Burning Mechanism

According to Dr. Li, foods like apples, broccoli, kale, and bok choy are some great options rich in vitamins and minerals, which can activate brown fat.

He says, "Apples have something called chlorogenic acid inside the flesh, and that chlorogenic acid can turn on your brown fat.

Broccoli, kale and bok choy are other options that can work wonders. Dr. Li suggests taking a wok or skillet and saut ing it up in virgin olive oil. He adds, "You'll get hydroxytyrosol and oleocanthal, these are Mother Nature's natural brown fat, triggering metabolism, activating fat-burning mechanisms."
