Ricky Hatton, who is a former world boxing champion, has recently passedaway. According to a report, he has believed to have taken his own life. He was found unresponsive at his home in Hyde, Greater Manchester on 14 September 2025, and the main cause of death was reported as hanging. It was all discovered when his manager discovered him missing from the scheduled plan of Dubai.

During an Inquest, it was said that he died by suicide and that's too likely by hanging.He was also found at his home by his manager, named Paul spoke when he failed to show up for a scheduled trip to Dubai. The police did not believe that there was anything suspicious about the death. Hatton's family later said that before his death he seemed in a good place and was excited for the future, even having packed a bag for his trip and talking about plans with his daughters but despite this, he also had a long history of mental health struggles, and after retiring, he was dealing with depression, alcohol, abuse, drug use, and even multiple suicide attempts.
