Drinking a glass milk is not enough for your every day calcium requirement.

Calcium deficiency is quite common these days with every other ailing from it. But a lot of us are unaware about the best sources of calcium and how to effectively get it in our diet. Also, our daily requirement for calcium is high and at times, dietary sources may not be enough to fulfil it. Did you know that we need 1000 mg of calcium per day to keep our bones strong? If you think drinking just one glass of milk is enough, you are mistaken. You will have to drink at least four tall glasses of milk if you want to fulfil your daily requirement. Not just this, calcium is also needed to perform other bodily functions apart from keeping our bones strong. Since getting your required calcium from dietary sources may not be feasible, there are also calcium supplements available in the market.
