Respiratory diseases have become the really common these days. And with the winters setting in the number of people suffering from these ailments has only increased. The reason for respiratory ailments may vary; while some individuals are born with a constitution that makes them allergic to certain foods or substances, some have to work in conditions that expose them to pollutants and irritants of different types, and in some cases unhealthy habits like smoking can also make the condition worse. Here's how Vedic astrology or gem stone therapy can help treat respiratory ailments.
Medical astrology offers several clues to how and why the diseases arise and where the solution may lie. Respiratory diseases affect the nose, throat and the lungs. The most important thing to understand here is that one must study the horoscope of the individual carefully to determine the solution. Here are some points to consider:
To treat respiratory ailments, an astro-gemologist must first (as a rule of thumb) consider strengthening the lagna lord/ the ascendant lord to restore good health. Secondly, if Mercury can be given strength (only done if Mercury or Budh is a natural yogkaraka or benefic for the individual in question), a natural, treatment-free emerald may be prescribed. Natural peridot is the upratna or the substitute gem of emerald and these gems harness the powers of Mercury. Emerald or peridot may be cast in silver or gold as a talisman ring and worn in the little finger for best results and gain of health.
