A study published in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology [1] showed that tulsi leaves stimulate the production of immune cells namely T cytokines, NK (natural killer) cells and T lymphocytes to protect against infection. Also, eating tulsi leaves on a daily basis boosts your immunity due to the presence of immune-modulatory compounds. These leaves also contain antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, which help in lowering your temperature and in treating a cough and cold. Three ways to use tulsi leaves for fever and cold
