How it works
Ashoka is considered as one of the sacred trees in India and the flowers and bark of the tree have traditionally been used in Ayurveda to treat uterine disorders, female infertility, dysentery and also for treating various skin disorders as it provides relief from itching and burning sensation. On the other hand, henna has anti-inflammatory properties to soothe irritated skin. Coconut oil is commonly used to treat dry skin, psoriasis and dermatitis.
Here s how you can prepare this home remedy
Take 50 g of dried flowers of an Ashoka tree. It is red in colour and commonly found in most Indian states. Then, keep a few fresh leaves of henna ready. You can buy these items from your local market where it should be freely available.
Then boil both of them in coconut oil for a few minutes and externally apply this extract twice a day to treat eczema and scabies.
