Former Big Shot film producer, Harvey Weinstein has been diagnosed with bone marrow cancer, a source who is close to the incarcerated Hollywood producer told the media. He has been diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia which is a form of bone marrow cancer. Sources also stated that he is undergoing treatment at Riker's Island in New York.
Harvey Weinstein was a bigshot film producer of Hollywood before he was accused with multiple sexual assault charges. In the 2018, Weinstein was arrested and charges with rape and several counts of sexual assault in New York. He was found guilty of two felony counts and was then sentenced to 23 years in prison. But, on April 25, 2024, the New York Court of Appeals overturned his conviction due to procedural errors and ordered a retrial. Weinstein's retrial is tentatively scheduled for November 12, 2024.
