Veteran actress and playback singer, Sulakshana Pandit, 71, passed away on November 6, 2025 at Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest. According to reports, the 71-year-old started her career at a young age and rose to fame for her songs like Jab Aati Hogi Yaad Meri, Jiske Liye Sabko Chhoda, Somwar Ko Hum Mile, Mausam Mausam Lovely Mausam and Pappa Jaldi Aa Jana. Sulakshana Pandit worked with some of the best actors of her time that including Rajesh Khanna, Vinod Khanna, and Sashi Kapoor. She'll be remembered for her outstanding performance in Hera Pheri, Waqt Ki Deewar, Khandaan, Sankoch, and Apnapan.

The classic Neecha Nagar star, Kamini Kaushal, 98, passed away on November 14, 2025 at her residence in Mumbai due to age-related issues. Some of the notable works of Kamini Kaushal include Laal Singh Chaddha, Chennai Express, Do Bhai, Shaheed, Ziddi, Shabnam and Arzoo. The 98-year-old is survived by her three sons Shravan, Vidur, and Rahul Sood. Kamini Kaushal would have turned 99 in February 2025, as she was born on 24 February 1927.
