After just four months into her employment, she reportedly succumbed to immense work pressure. The news of her death has sent shockwaves among corporate workplaces and employees. Many have taken to social media and Linkedin to share about their own experience of stress and burnout. After her sudden death, her mother Anita Augustine wrote a letter addressed to the chief of EY describing in detail the circumstances under which Anna had been working. Anita points out the fact that overwork, exploitation and burnout are the reasons behind her daughter's death.
