  • You may experience it due to bowel issues: Excessive consumption of fibre can invite flatulence, whereas, if you lack it then you might suffer from constipation. This not only results in stinky farts but can lead to body odour too. If you have severe constipation, the toxins released by your digestive system get to the surface of your skin due to which you may experience faecal body odour.
  • You may experience it due to the consumption of fried foods: Deep fried foods can lead to digestion issues, which can make you stink more than before! This is so because baked and fried foods become rancid too quickly.
  • You may experience it due to stress and anxiety: If you have a stressful job which always keeps you on the edge of your seat, you will also tend to become anxious. The stress hormone - cortisol can make you sweat and that added bacteria on your skin can make you stink and thus you may experience body odour.
  • You may experience it due to mineral and vitamin deficiencies: Magnesium is essential for your body as it helps in carrying out many important functions. It can help you to reduce that irritating body odour.
  • You may experience it due to urinary tract infections: Of the many symptoms of a urinary tract infection (UTI), one of the symptoms is the emanation of fishy smell from your nether regions or from your urine. However, peeing can be difficult when you suffer from a UTI, due to which, the smell will come from your skin and you may stink.
