'You have high blood sugar', is probably one of the most common sentence we hear doctors tell their patients these days. High blood sugar indicates that you might have diabetes and with this diagnosis comes a million restrictions -- especially when it has to do with your diet. While, it is common knowledge that a diabetic should avoid sugary foods, the other diet rules are a bit unclear, with a number of people advising you about what you should or should not eat.
But, for a diabetic their diet is what makes their medicines work and keeps their sugar levels under control and isn't something that one should take lightly.
