With the increasing prevalence of diabetics in India, immunity is taking a toll

A person suffering from diabetes can be susceptible to infections and illnesses. If not appropriately controlled, high blood sugar levels can result in chronic health conditions.

As per the research and WHO (World Health Organisation) findings, the burden of diabetics in India is increasing rapidly.   According to a 2019 study, India is home to about 77 million people diagnosed with diabetes(1).
