ExerciseA sedentary lifestyle is one of the major causes of diabetes and it's associated health complications. By making some minor changes to your normal daily routine however, you can happily prevent as well as control diabetes. Studies have shown that lifestyle interventions play a key role in maintaining blood sugar levels within control, as long as the changed lifestyle is maintained [1]. What changes do you need to make?

  • Walk for at least 10 minutes after having your meals.
  • Exercise for 20 40 minutes at least 3 4 times in a week.
  • Eat a well balanced and nutritious meal.
  • Get plenty of sleep
  • Maintain a healthy weight.
  • Manage stress in a natural way.
