If you think that Bollywood movies accurately depict human emotions and health problems, then you need to think again! Wondering why? Well, here are a few Bollywood movies that have wrongly depicted blood and organ donation. So don't go by what you see in movies!

1. Nirupa Roy in Amar Akbar Anthony undergoing blood donation: With the knowledge of blood donation that I have, I can say that a series of blood tests are done before performing a blood transfusion, which is not the case in the movie. Moreover, the bottles used to take blood from the heroes pump blood upwards. Don't believe me? Watch this! (Read: 10 things to keep in mind before and after blood donation)

2. Arbaaz Khan in Hello Brother undergoes a heart transplant only to realise later that the the person from whom he got the heart (Salman Khan) is still alive as he has hallucinations. Also, Arbaaz falls in love with the same girl, Salman Khan used to love. But in reality, it is far from the truth.

3. Actress Bhoomika Chawla underwent a heart transplant in the Salman Khan starrer Dil Ne Jise Apna Kaha. The movie shows that Bhoomika gets the heart of Salman's lover, who dies, only to fall in love with the actor after the transplant. Really?? (Read to know more on heart transplants how are they done?)

4. Madhoo in Diya Aur Toofan who undergoes brain transplant is a step higher. In this, the actress who has a brain damage gets the brain of the actor (Mithun Chakraborty). Moreover, if you watched the movie closely, it is shown that to store a brain, you need an oven with an ice tray in the bottom and a disposable plate on the top shelf to keep the brain. When the doctor says that to save the heroine, brain transplant is the only option, this dialogue by Kader Khan slays it -- "Ho Sakta he Sir, Un dono ke dil milte the, Khalayat milte the, jazbaat milte the, ehsaas milte the, toh unke dimag zaroor milenge sire, zaroor milenge". 5. If you thought brain transplant was the height, then you need to watch Hrudaya Kaleyam, a Telugu comedy film that represented heart transplant surgery you can never imagine. The hero carries heart (which is 1/4 the size of the hero) in hand, as he fights goons the heart directly falls in a tray-like thing in a person lying on a bed in OT. Doctors perform the surgery and the lady survives. Do I need to say anything about it?
