NFL Icon Bernie Kosar Shares Health Update Video After Sudden Liver Transplant Triggered by Internal Bleeding
NFL legend Bernie Kosar has shared an emotional video update, which has left many fans with a sigh of relief, as it came out really unexpectedly as the video was about a successful liver transplant. At the age of, he also underwent surgery due to internal bleeding, where many complications were present. Even though he had to go through a tough time, he always remained optimistic about his health.His procedure was delayed as the donated organ for the liver transplant was infected, but he definitely underwent some procedures during that time to stop internal bleeding. He underwent at least two to three surgeries to manage the bleeding.
This November 17, 2025, he shared a short but deeply meaningful video from his hospital bed, confirming that he had come through the transplant, saying, "Hey, I'm out And I am feeling good". Even earlier that morning, he posted a pre-surgery update saying," Good news in we are set for 5 AM"
