Hing is one of the most ancient remedies used to treat respiratory infections. Its oil acts as an effective expectorant that helps in clearing the excess mucus from the respiratory tract and ease your infection. Asafoetida acts as a powerful respiratory stimulant which helps in releasing phlegm and relieve chest congestion. This herbal remedy is found to be successful in fighting against influenza in addition to treating whooping cough, dry cough, bronchitis and asthma.

Tips:

  1. You can consume roasted hing powder with real ghee daily to get rid of cough and other respiratory ailments.
  2. Prepare a mixture of hing powder with a spoonful of honey, half a spoon of white onion juice, half a spoon of betel nut juice and a pinch of dry ginger powder. Take this on a daily basis to prevent respiratory disorders.
  3. Add a pinch of hing to a cup of hot boiling water. Drink this extract as it acts as an effective remedy to relieve chronic bronchitis.
