Fizzy drinks or flavoured sodas are often a quick source of energy or mood boosters, but they lack nutrients and cannot just spike sugar but also lead to chronic inflammation and can accelerate the risk of cancer, with obesity-related cancers such as breast, pancreatic, and colon cancers.
