To combat one such viral infection, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MHFW) on Wednesday shared important guidelines to prevent diarrhoea this monsoon season.
The monsoon season increases the risk of various illnesses due to a combination of many factors, such as the humidity and stagnant water from the rainfall.
Dampness allows the breeding of bacteria, viruses such as Rotavirus, and mosquitoes easily, which is one of the many causes of monsoon ailments.
