Our brain hardwires everything we do, this is how new habits are formed. So, the narratives that we tell ourselves get hard wired in our brains. Our brains default network is the narratives pathway, and that's what the brain activates. So, unless we are task focused, this is the default network. Our other network is the direct experience network, which helps us experience situations through our senses. Throughout the day, we are constantly trying to balance the two, experience new situations, conversations while creating inner narratives.

Building New Habits

Researchers found that 40 per cent of our actions are based on our habits and not on conscious thoughts. When we are trying to create new habits, our brain has to override its default frameworks are create new neural pathways. This is how our brain builds new habits.

Patience
